At The Pin Creator, we believe that our satisfied customers are the reason for our continued success. We back each and every custom product we manufacture with outstanding customer service practices and quality.

Each order is created through a team effort. You are a very important part of our team. We rely on you for vital information, which helps us produce the specific custom products you want. While we are working together, we each have responsibilities. For your convenience, we have included these responsibilities below. These are the terms and conditions that govern all of our sales. Stand behind our products and our service.


At The Pin Creator, we proudly back every product with a 100% Product Quality Guarantee. If you receive a defective item or one with major flaws, we will quickly replace it. Minor manufacturing differences may occur. These are considered normal. To start a claim, send a written description and images of the defect within 14 days of delivery. This guarantee covers defects caused by our manufacturing process. Since we create only custom products, we cannot accept returns for any reason. We do not accept responsibility for lost profits or costs from delays caused by shipping or unexpected events.

Give you accurate information.


Before we begin production, we will email you a digital proof of your final custom-made product. This high-quality digital proof lets you spell-check, verify color and size, and make any changes or corrections. The “size” of your lapel pin is measured from the widest or tallest point of your design. The size shown on your proof is for illustrative purposes only. It helps you understand the actual size of products. This representation does not indicate the size you must order or will receive. You will select the item size when placing your order. Different pin types represent color differently. Please review the relevant information below. We assume that you understand what you are ordering before providing us with payment.

Where applicable, we use the Pantone (PMS) color matching system. Therefore, please indicate your color choices using Pantone PMS numbers.

For more information on the Pantone (PMS) system, visit www.pantone.com. Also, because all computer monitors and printers display colors differently, confirm your color choices by consulting a Pantone (PMS) book or chart. These are available at most art supply stores and some libraries. If requested, we will list Pantone (PMS) numbers on the proof so you can verify them. If your desired color is specific, you must tell us the PMS color.

Do not assume your computer monitor or printer is accurate.


Color shades and hues vary across devices. On photoscreen and other printed pins, brighter colors may not match digital proofs. This is especially true for ultra-bright shades like hot pink, lime green, and neon yellow. For the brightest colors, we recommend soft enamel pins. Also, avoid using smartphones to view your proof—colors often appear inaccurate on those devices.

Acknowledge your order.


Once we receive your payment information, we will send an order confirmation (a.k.a. receipt) via email. This email details your order specifications. It includes pricing, type, size, quantity, colors, and estimated production time. The email will also contain the finalized digital proof with any corrections, plus a link to our terms and conditions. This communication represents our mutual understanding. It serves as the sole binding confirmation from us regarding your order. If you don’t receive an email, your order may still have started. All orders begin immediately. Please contact us if you need another receipt.

Produce your order correctly and quickly.


Once we receive your order, and under normal global conditions, we begin production immediately. Unless stated otherwise, the estimated timelines are:

  • Normal standard ship: 30 days or less

  • Normal rush ship: 7 to 10 working days or less

  • 3-D molded, zinc alloy, and dual-plated lapel pins: 14 to 16 working days

From May through July, production is busiest. Delivery dates may exceed normal estimates due to various factors. Our rush production option bumps your order to the front of the line. This can help shorten delivery times. We reserve the right to select packaging, attachments, and findings that best fit your items. Items like blinking LED pins, danglers, spinners, bobbleheads, and sliders require more time to produce. Large, specialty, or complex orders may also require additional production time. Replacement orders follow the same timelines as original orders.

For more information, speak to your sales representative. Your finished order will ship via UPS or FedEx. We choose the service level that ensures on-time delivery. When appropriate, we may ship directly from the factory.
